Our client a leading Corporate Events Management company is looking to hire an experienced Senior Events/Programs Manager.

  • Responsibilities
    As an Event Project Manager you would oversee the successful running of events. The Event Project Manager’s main responsibilities include daily governance of events to ensure tasks are kept on schedule, managing budgets, and maintaining communication with all event team members. As an active member of the Project Team, the Event Project Manager will work with the Client Lead and Project Supports in managing the program logistics through to successful program delivery. This opportunity is based in the Pickering area. This individual will be required to support the Planning and Execution of Meetings, Events and Incentive Travel programs such as sales meetings, executive retreats, annual meetings, incentive trips and tradeshows. Responsibilities: · Prepare client correspondence, including on-line website content · Create website copy in collaboration with client, and other team members, as required · Research, recommend and select meeting/incentive sites and activities that support the objectives, as required · Prepare and distribute agendas; attend and participate in internal and external (client) meetings and produce contact reports from the meeting · Budget maintenance · Reports project status on regular basis to management, project teams and clients · Manage program logistics through to successful program delivery · Coordinate and manage pre-planning meeting with project team; coordinate all information for meetings and events and disseminate appropriately · Management of all program financials including budget maintenance, supplier invoices and reconciliation of accounts · Oversee registration management to include registration website content creation, participant registration and reporting · Oversee Transportation and Creative requirements · Function Sheet development · On-site event/program management to ensure all functions are executed as planned · Participation in final reconciliation process · Participation in the debrief process · Develop mobile application content with client · Create survey questions with client and work with project support(s) on creating survey · Closely manage time plans/scope changes on all assigned files and monitor that all project teams are doing the same · In collaboration with project support (s) produce contact reports for every meeting · Manage Transportation manifest · Project Team lead on assigned projects ensuring that all team members meet goals and expectations and honour timelines and commitments · Pull any reports required from Swoogo (Activity, Dietary, Hotel, etc.) · Source and evaluate partners and suppliers for programs · Creation of critical path following transfer meeting & maintenance of throughout the planning process
  • Requirements
    Expectations/Requirements: · 5-7 Years of experience in Corporate Event Planning · 5-7 Years of experience in Corporate Event Management · 5 days a week in office until management feels ready for hybrid · Excellent fluent oral and written communication skills · Excellent knowledge of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) · Professional participant management and collaborative team player · Ability to communicate and respond to the needs of our team and clients · Capable of performing cross-functional task management for a given program · Accuracy in the inputting of information · Maintaining appropriate filing systems · Skilled in the development of program websites · Skilled in list and report generation as required · Excellent in multi-tasking, and time management If you are a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for Events Management, we encourage you to apply.
