Our client in Toronto has a permanent, in-office opportunity for a Primary Care Manager. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of primary care services, lead a multidisciplinary team, and help ensure the delivery of coordinated, high-quality care. Team Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise clinicians and support staff; lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and team development.
Clinic Operations:
Oversee clinic scheduling, workflows, and service delivery. Collaborate with administrative and IT teams to optimize clinical systems and resources.
Quality & Program Development:
Monitor service outcomes, implement quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to annual planning and program evaluation.
Financial Oversight:
Assist in budget development and resource allocation; ensure expenditures align with policies and funding guidelines.
Partnerships & Collaboration:
Build strong internal and external partnerships to enhance integrated care and support community needs.
Student Coordination:
Coordinate placement and supervision of students and residents in collaboration with team leads and academic partners.
Risk Management:
Ensure infection control, emergency preparedness, and client safety protocols are followed. Respond to incidents and client concerns appropriately.
Organizational Participation:
Contribute to management team activities, accreditation efforts, and organization-wide initiatives promoting health equity and social justice.
Master’s degree in health administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years’ management experience in a primary care or community health setting
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in program development, quality improvement, and financial oversight
Familiarity with PHIPA, OHSA, AODA, and other relevant legislation
Proficiency in electronic medical records (PSS an asset) and Microsoft Office
Commitment to equity, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed care
