      Mila wears many hats at Staffworks, combining her technical and communication skills to contribute to Staffworks’ success. Beginning as a recruiter in 2018, Mila soon took over the entire payroll and accounting function and is now also responsible for overseeing systems improvements and communications initiatives whilst managing the payroll team. Mila is usually listening to queer audio dramas and horror podcasts in between meetings. Offline, she enjoys snuggling with her cat Atticus.

      Trisha started with Staffworks as an account manager and quickly built strong relationships with each customer she engaged. She accepted the role of Sales Manager early 2022 and has not looked back. Her ability to bring out the best in her team is topped only by how much her clients love her. Trisha is a lynchpin in the Staffworks organization, balancing her busy job with raising three young children with her husband, Dave. When she’s not taking care of her customers, she enjoys spending time at the family cottage in the Kawartha Lakes.

      Rob brings many years of staffing industry experience to his role with Staffworks. He has been successfully building client relationships and filling client staff requirements for over two decades. In addition to his expertise filling our clients’ roles, he is known for building high performance teams and creating a warm, hard-working culture. When he’s not filling jobs or leading his team, Rob can be found with his wife and delightful pup, Bella on the shores of Lake Nipissing in North Bay.

      Sandra began in the staffing industry in 1993 after graduating from McGill University. Inspired by some great bosses, she started Staffworks on September 25, 2000 at the corner of Bay and Bloor Streets in Toronto. With over 20 years in the industry, Sandra has assembled a team of driven, client-focused pros who are serious about providing their clients with top-tier candidates quickly, without cutting corners. When she’s not working with her team, Sandra is likely hanging out with her three kids and Aussie Doodle, Maggie or spending time on the squash or tennis court.

    Are you a Recruiter?

    The ideal Recruiter will have 2+ years of experience in recruitment and/or a college diploma or university degree. Staffworks provides you with the means, the tools and the support to run your own recruitment desk. Working closely with the recruitment team and account managers you will be accountable for the search, source and interviewing aspects of the recruitment process, developing a temporary and permanent candidate pipeline for our 3 busy lines of business: Corporate Services, Accounting & Finance and IT.

    Some of your duties include:

    • Collaborate with the recruitment team to forge best strategies to source, assess, and present top talent to employers across Canada.
    • Schedule and organize logistics of candidate interviews. Coach candidates on putting their best foot forward in interviews and job assignments.
    • Negotiate and manage any offers/agreements and business relationships with clients and candidates
    • Draft customized job descriptions as per our client’s needs and design job postings.
    • Maintain an engaged and communicative relationship with candidates through the use of social media and email communications tools.

    Are you an Account Manager?

    The ideal Account Manager will have 1-2 years’ experience in a client-facing role, preferably in sales, and a college diploma or university degree. You will have strong networking and relationship-building skills; the ability to identify new opportunities, and close business. Staffworks will provide you with the tools, the training, and the support to build your business and contribute to overall company growth. If you are a driven, goal-oriented professional with a competitive drive, Staffworks might be the ideal place to leverage your talents.

    Some of your duties include:

    • Seek out new clients using a variety of means including telephone, email, social channels, marketing campaigns, and meetings.
    • Engage and qualify prospective clients through cold-calling and other techniques.
    • Meet with prospects regularly, building a funnel of potential new business.
    • Consistently win prospects over using active listening, questioning and creative problem-solving.
    • Establish a regular flow of temporary and permanent orders, meeting and exceeding quota. Grow your existing accounts through consistent follow-up and attention to detail.
