Job Details:

Staffworks is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator, Events. This role will oversee the administrative and business functions that support event sales for both internal and external clients.

  • Responsibilities
      RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Oversee all event sales business activities, including the sales and invoicing of client events. Reconcile, report, and deposit daily revenue to the Finance Department while managing meetings and special events for internal and select external clients.
    • Work closely with the AVP, VP, and Executive team to develop and update standard and customized reports, including budgets, projections, and business trend analyses.
    • Purchase essential products and supplies to maintain seamless business operations.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
     
  • Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A university degree in Business (preferably in hospitality management) or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
    • At least five (5) years of experience in a fast-paced business administrative and hospitality sales environment.
    • Proficiency in Delphi and CRM systems is required; knowledge of government licensing guidelines is a plus.
    • Excellent business communication and client service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, sensitivity, and sound judgment.
    • Strong proficiency in computer software, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Delphi, along with familiarity with applications like Dayforce and social media platforms.
    • Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget management, and the development of databases and reports.
    • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, multitasking, and project management skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Availability for regular office hours, with flexibility for occasional irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
