Job Details:

Our client a leading, privately owned tile company, is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist with hands-on experience in Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP software to join their team. This is a permanent, in-office role based in North York.

As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to employees, ensuring smooth IT operations, and offering specialized support for Epicor Prophet 21 ERP. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting ERP-related issues, assisting users, and optimizing system performance.

  • Responsibilities
    • - Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and ERP-related issues.
    • - Troubleshoot and resolve Epicor Prophet 21 ERP issues, including user access, reporting, and system functionality.
    • - Assist with user training and onboarding to improve efficiency in using the ERP system.
    • - Work closely with internal teams to optimize ERP workflows and resolve system inefficiencies.
    • - Document technical issues, resolutions, and best practices to improve IT support processes.
    • - Coordinate with external IT vendors and Epicor support for advanced troubleshooting.
    • - Perform system maintenance, updates, and basic database management to ensure performance and security.
  • Requirements
    Experience:
    • - 2+ years in IT help desk or technical support, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment.
    • - ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP software is required.
    Technical Skills:
    • - Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, basic networking, and troubleshooting methodologies.
    Problem-Solving:
    • - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical and ERP-related issues efficiently.
    Communication:
    • - Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
    • - Team Player: Self-motivated and able to collaborate in a fast-paced work environment.
