Our client a leading Corporate Event Planning company in the GTA is looking to hire an Event Coordinator/Programs Coordinator for a 3 month contract with the possibility of being extended. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.   • Responsibilities
    Duties: - Plan and coordinate all aspects of corporate events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor - Develop event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines - Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences - Market events through various channels to attract attendees - Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors - Coordinate event logistics, such as setup, registration, and cleanup - Oversee event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations during events - Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees - Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events - Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
  • Requirements
    Skills: - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, vendors, and team members - Hospitality mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Proficient in budgeting and financial management for events - Strong negotiation skills when dealing with vendors and suppliers - Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics - Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
