Our client, a Canada wide regulatory body has an immediate need for a Business Process Analyst. This is a remote, 6 month contract. The incumbent provides business process mapping services related to our Enterprise Management System (EMS).

  • Responsibilities
    Job Responsibilities
    • Create Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) compatible process maps from existing non-BPMN process maps.
    • Meet with users identified in the BPMN process maps to confirm the process maps reflect what is currently implemented in the Enterprise Management System (EMS).
    • Update BPMN maps as needed based on information received from user meetings.
    • Collaborate with the developer’s Business Analyst to confirm or correct as developed BPMN process maps.
    • Acquire and maintain knowledge of company policies, regulations, and strategies, and keep up to date with relevant developments, applicable legislation, trends and best practices.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the company meets and delivers on its legislative compliance requirements without delay.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements
    Education, Experience and Skills
    • College diploma in a related discipline.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
    • Knowledge of processes and practices for working with software solutions (e.g., form submissions, and end user and staff interactions with an application).
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to map real world process execution.
    • Organizational skills to coordinate deliverables, meetings and action items and synthesize input from stakeholders.
    • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced changing environment as a collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative.
    • Written and verbal communication skills to communicate with users and development team to accurately reflect what has been developed and documented in the process maps.
    • Attention to detail to complete work accurately and on time.
    • Knowledge of office/administrative software and databases.

    Expected hours: 37.50 per week

    Flexible language requirement:

    • French not required

    Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday
