Job Details:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Travel and Expenses Specialist to join the payroll team of our client, a high profile retail organization. This role is essential in managing travel and expense reporting for our employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience with various financial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies while providing excellent support to our staff.

Work Type: 6 month contract (likely to extend)

Work Location: Hybrid Remote (Oakville, 2-3 times/month in office)

    • Process and submit travel/expenses via Concur.
    • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of expenses.
    • Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure timely processing.
    • Assist in the preparation of internal/external audits.
    • All other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements
    Requirements
    • Strong understanding of payroll processes and accounts payable/receivable functions.
    • Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Previous accounting and finance role is advantageous.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Concur.

    Experience

    • Payroll: 1 year (required)
    • SAP Concur or similar: 1 year (preferred)
    • travel/expense processing: 1 year (required)
