Our Client in North York has an immediate, In Office opportunity for a Operations & Business Administrator/Analyst. Int his role, the employee will perform as a support to the COO and the VP of Operations who preside over the day-to-day operations of the organization.

  • Responsibilities
    This person will assist with certain managerial functions of the company, as designated by the COO, and the Vice President, which include: planning, organizing, controlling and making well-researched recommendations regarding business operations. This role will collaborate across several departments to find areas where teams can streamline processes, ramp up production and increase overall efficiency. The business administrator will compile and analyze data on company revenue. They will also make financial projections to estimate future performance and make recommendations for production and budgets accordingly. Other duties and responsibilities of a Business Administrator include:
    • Keeping records and preparing reports on the operation of the business
    • Establishing and carrying out different operational policies, goals, and procedures
    • Serving as the interlink between the Senior management and company branches, employees, and the customers
    • Researching, analyzing and making recommendations on business finances and budget activities
    • Collaborating with the HR department to meet workers need and improve efficiency
    • Research and introduce new ways to improve on existing business models through technology
    • Work on projects from conception to completion, with expertise in data, IT and general writing.
    • Act as a barometer having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping COO updated.
    • Demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
    • Conduct research, analysis, identifying gaps, pain points and opportunities for improved processes or communication.
  • Requirements
    Required skills and expertise:
    • 5+ years of business experience
    • Business degree or equivalent experience
    • Exceptional computer skills, including data analysis
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and seniority levels
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Extremely discreet with proven ability to handle confidential information
    • Forward-looking thinker who actively seeks out opportunities and proposes solutions.
