We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst – HR Technology, to join our client in education. Under the supervision of the Senior Systems Consultant, HRIS/Payroll, this role will work closely with the existing HR Technology team to understand the impact of configuration in SAP HCM and contribute to optimizing both the SAP HCM and HCM Security environments. The position will support the SAP HCM system and HCM Security, ensuring effective reporting and identifying opportunities for innovation to enhance enterprise applications.

  • Responsibilities
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
    • Develop, test, and maintain SAP HCM programs, SAP HCM queries, SAP HCM user exits, and SAP HCM configurations.
    • Investigate and resolve HCM-related processing issues while offering client support.
    • Generate and analyze reporting requirements for SAP.
    • Provide support for the SAP Employee Expense Concur System.
    • Reconcile and balance SAP HCM reports across various internal departments and prepare for annual audits.
    • Assist SAP functional teams with the implementation of bi-annual SAP Support Packages, including addressing SAP notes related to system and legislative changes.
    • Manage tools for cloning and testing, including the SAP comparison tool for HCM tables in various SAP environments.
    • Oversee SAP HCM Security by managing user access to sensitive data.
    • Collaborate with departments to define and address security requirements.
    • Design and implement security roles based on organizational needs related to HCM.
    • Create and maintain SAP roles for existing and new user functions/tasks.
    • Provide SAP user IDs and necessary authorizations to new HCM users, and manage the authorization for current users.
    • Conduct user security reviews and participate in annual security audits.
    • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Requirements
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • SAP HCM certification, with preference for SAP Payroll Module.
    • At least four (4) years of experience in an SAP HCM environment, with a focus on SAP Payroll.
    • Demonstrated experience in SAP HCM, HCM Security, and Payroll processes.
    • Strong background in creating SAP HCM ABAP reports, configuring SAP, and generating SAP queries.
    • Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8, HCM modules, ABAP, Payroll reporting, and knowledge of SAP HCM concurrent employment.
    • Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to support users and resolve issues.
    • Experience leading SAP Payroll mid-year and year-end support pack updates within the functional area.
    • Strong project management skills with experience in SAP system upgrades and conversions.
    • Solid administrative, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities, especially within the SAP HCM environment focused on Payroll.
    • Exceptional time management skills to handle ongoing HR/Payroll deadlines and reporting requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
