  • Responsibilities
    Position Overview As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the companies social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Houzz. Your work will be pivotal in engaging with our audience, sharing updates, responding to comments, and handling inquiries. You will collaborate closely with our Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team to create impactful content that enhances brand visibility and strengthens customer relationships. Reports to: Senior Director of Purchasing and Product Development Key Responsibilities:
    • Content Creation and Management- Develop, plan, and execute a consistent social media calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Houzz, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice and business goals.
    • Community Engagement- Actively monitor all social media platforms, responding to comments, questions, and direct messages in a timely, professional manner. Redirect inquiries to relevant departments as needed.
    • Cross-Branch Consistency- Ensure social media content and messaging are unified and distributed consistently across all branches in Canada and seven U.S. offices.
    • Collaborative Content Development- Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team to create and refine visual and written content for posts, stories, and other social media formats.
    • Performance Monitoring and Reporting- Track social media performance metrics, analyze engagement, and report on social media trends to drive continuous improvement and engagement growth.
    • Brand and Product Promotion- Help strategize and implement campaigns for new product launches and promotional events to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Requirements
    Qualifications
    • Education in in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Manager, or similar role.
    • Proficiency with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz).
    • Strong understanding of social media analytics and KPIs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) are a plus.

    • Creative Vision- Ability to produce creative, engaging content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience.
    • Customer Service Orientation- Adept at addressing comments and inquiries professionally to enhance brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
    • Attention to Detail- Ensures accuracy and consistency in all social media posts and responses.
    • Team Collaboration- Works effectively with the Senior Graphic Designer and other team members to create unified, high-quality content.
