Job Details:

Our client, a large distributor and manufacturer of construction materials, is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Specialist. You will work to maintain effective marketing campaigns online, support conversion of business goals into successful digital marketing campaigns, leveraging various digital platforms and techniques to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

  • Responsibilities
    The responsibilities of the position will include (but not limited to):
    • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
    • Manage all aspects of digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Social Media Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc., including budget allocation, targeting, optimization, and performance analysis.
    • Create engaging content for digital channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and blogs, to attract and retain customers.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM systems to measure campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and consumer behavior, and utilize insights to refine marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including product management, sales, and creative, to align digital marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
    • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing best practices, algorithm changes, and new technologies, and propose innovative ideas to enhance campaign performance and efficiency.
    • Optimize website and landing page design and functionality for improved user experience and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
    • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support digital marketing efforts as needed.
    • Stay informed about legal and regulatory requirements related to digital marketing activities, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Requirements
    The ideal candidate will have:
    • A post-secondary degree, college diploma or equivalent years’ work experience in marketing or a related field.
    • 10-15 years of relevant work experience in interactive marketing and/or media, digital advertising, graphic design, communications.
    • An understanding of marketing fundamentals.
    • Proven organizational skills, project management and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge in key areas of marketing (SEO, social media, PPC and SEM).
    • Experience in planning, creating, implementing and analyzing marketing strategies and campaigns
    • A solid understanding of keyword search, internet metrics, analysis, and ad delivery processes.
    • The ability to stay up to date on marketing trends and news (e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms).
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to develop and deliver clear and persuasive presentations.
    • The ability to work effectively, independently and as a team, including cross-functional teams.
