Our Client, a leader in their field in the Toronto area, has an immediate Perm opportunity for an Examination Assistant (Pharmacy).

  • Role: Permanent
  • Full Time – Monday to Friday
  • Onsite – in Office Position, 4 days a week with 1 remote day (Centrally located in the Yorkville area of Toronto)
  • Compensation: $45,000 – $47,000 per year

  • Responsibilities
    Primary:
    • Photocopying, organizing, packing, labeling, ordering examination materials and supplies
    • Maintaining inventory and electronic files
    • Performing audit and quality assurance of transported materials and securely stored
    • Archiving and disposing of examination materials
    • Secure maintenance of current, accurate inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
    • Prepare mock-ups of products, prepare labels for prescription/drug products and examination prop bags
    • Ordering and maintenance of video supplies, creating and maintaining video logs, library and videotaping equipment
    Secondary:
    • Assist with processing of examination data
    • Auditing, organizing, scanning and archiving scoring sheets
    • Performing quality assurance checks
    • Assisting with processing hand scoring request

    • Adaptable to changes in processes, timelines, working environments
    • Demonstrated ability to function well under pressure
    • Ability to lift and handle boxes of paper, workshop supplies and examination materials (up to approximately 35 lbs.)
    • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
    • Strong computer skills as indicated below
    Education, Expertise and Experience Requirements:
    • Post-secondary degree or diploma
    • Computer expertise and experience
    • MS Windows environment Intermediate level
    • MS Word Advanced level
    • MS Excel Intermediate level
    • MS Outlook Intermediate level
    • MS Access Beginner level or Ability to learn
    • Previous general office experience including professional document creation and formatting; writing and editing, mail merging documents and labels
    • Microsoft Office Suite: 2 years (preferred)
    • Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
    • Education: 1 year (preferred)
